“They took fantastic care of us”

We rented this lovely villa for a birthday girls trip. The pictures are so stunning and the listing looks so amazing, I worried for a minute that it couldn’t be real. But we just returned from the most wonderful stay at Villa Amara. Dimitris was so easy to work with and very helpful with anything we might need. The house is a about 45 minutes from the port (which we loved) breakfast each morning made by Dina was incredible. They took fantastic care of us. The sunsets were unreal and the house had plenty of space to socialize or to get away to a private spot and relax. We stayed five nights and didn’t not want to leave. We tried to take advantage of everything the house had to offer but there’s so much we will have to do them on the next visit.

The house and it’s property are even more stunning than the photos. The help by the staff was friendly and welcoming and useful, from the moment we arrived. Dimitrios was a perfect host, answering any questions within minutes, and going out of his way to ensure every day and every meal was special, whether it was supplying pounds of seafood for a dinner or simply making sure we had enough limes for tequila. We can’t wait to come back.

We have stayed in five star hotels, villas, and luxury homes around the world so our bar is high. This villa and the staff that took care of my husband and I and my girlfriends who joined us for my 50th celebration deserves a 20 out of 10 rating. We had a staff of 4 the each day; Dimitrios on (Hidden by Airbnb) , who responded in seconds to help set up boat trips or dinner reservations; Dina who was the morning Chef; Virginia who cleaned; and Mo who took care of the property, delivered extra ice and gave us his warm smile each morning. More than what they did, their presence was about how they made us feel. We loved them immediately and so we danced in the morning, sang, got wonderful hugs from Dina, and learned new Greek words. They were like family from day 1. They made such an impression and we connected so well, we all cried when we left.

An outstanding property in a beautiful and quiet part of the island. Perfect for a couple of families to get together and relax. The housekeeping team and the breakfasts they provide are absolutely perfect and add so much to the experience. We will definitely be back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is an amazing house for a holiday with friends or extended family – the facilities are great, especially the mini golf course and infinity pool. We even used the pizza oven and made homemade pizzas. An amazing breakfast buffet is laid on every morning and the house is cleaned daily making it a far more of a holiday than the usual villa experience. The only slight drawback is that the villa is very remote – there aren’t a lot of good dining options without driving for 30-40 minutes. But if you don’t mind that it’s hard to fault. The host Dimitri will book tours, cabs and restaurants for you and replies to messages immediately. Really helpful. Five star review for all of us!

What a wonderful location with everything you can possibly think of. Amazingly friendly people, delicious food, perfectly clean and tidy. Incredible location for an amazing and relaxing holiday. “The villa is perfectly designed”

FANTASTIC! The villa is perfectly designed with every amenity you could imagine or want for. We were welcomed by the manager Dimitri on arrival and he was at the end of a phone whenever we needed him. The staff where great, there first thing in the morning for breakfast and setting the house up for the day to come. Everything was in perfect condition, pool, spa, BBQ area, Tennis court, living spaces, gardens ( fresh vegetables a bonus) and the 18 hole Putt-Putt course. This was one of the highlights of the stay! The view from the back of the house is amazing. Every evening the sunset was the main event. The owner, Dimitrios was extremely friendly and personally helped arrange a boat trip one afternoon along with getting the shipwreck beach totally to ourselves! He also dropped off fresh seafood to us the next morning. Shops 10 min walk, local people welcoming and friendly, also small bar 100m from the front gate. We stayed at the villa for 8 nights and loved all of them. 4 Families covering all ages. Kids slept in the Tree House! Would recommend the Villa to anyone. STUNNING! The villa is beautifuly designed with an individual, artistic and loving touch, very warm and welcoming. We stayed at Amara for a few days and felt at home right away. We saw some breathtaking sunsets at the villa and had amazing time on our cruise organized only for us by the manager! The breakfast prepared everyday was beyond anything we could imagine: everything fresh, cooked for us by our own chef, so many options of meals to choose from, we were spoiled! The staff was really helpful and friendly. We had so much fun playing mini golf and tennis. You can’t get bored in this place! Highly recommend! Thank you for everything Dimitris! For sure we will come back again!

“Most amazing stay ever!”

We have picked this villa to celebrate our wedding and we couldn’t have been more lucky! Absolutely everything is thought through. The beautiful infinity pool with a great view of the sea and mountains behind it was the perfect location for our wedding. The midgetgolf course, the pool table and the jacuzzi were frequently used by everyone. We definitely hope to return one day, and re-live one of the best days of our lives.

Fantastic accommodations – secluded, picturesque, very well appointed, everything you can think of wanting. Quality all the way with a very down to earth, personal style you can only find on Zakynthos! We look forward to inventing another event to make a return visit!

The Villa was absolutely breathtaking and beautifully decorated. We were a big group and did not feel that we were on top of each other. It was so spacious and serene. The most beautiful sunset in Greece overlooking the infinity pool. We will for sure be returning.

Villa Amara is a fabulous house with a lot of space inside and outside. No bedroom and bathroom are like the others furnishes with a great taste. There is also a modern kitchen, living room and a playroom…absolutely more than you need!

The villa itself was beyond our dreams, finished to such a high standard and really beautiful design details making it that much more special for our wedding day.

I have to say this was the best holiday I and my friends have ever had! The villa is amazing, quiet and offers all luxuries that you can imagine. All rooms have a fantastic sea view over a quiet valley. The tennis court, the infinity pool, the pool table, the fantastic tree house, the barbecue and fireplace left no wishes open.

Awesome villa, great modern architecture and facilities! It was perfect for our needs. I spent 5 days there with 15 other entrepreneurs from all over the world and it felt very comfortable, cozy and luxurious at the same time. The scenery around the villa is really epic and breath taking.
